Pese a que insisten en decir que el libro carece de una línea argumental fija porque no hay protagonistas específicos o una trama única， en realidad es la historia de la caída de una civilización y el inicio de otra en su lugar。 Tan intrigante como escalofriante; es reflexionar sobre la condición humana con la más pura imaginación。Lo más relevante no es en sí la historia de la conquista， es redescubrir con ello lo terrible que puede esconderse en el alma humana。 Al principio estarás del lado de Pese a que insisten en decir que el libro carece de una línea argumental fija porque no hay protagonistas específicos o una trama única， en realidad es la historia de la caída de una civilización y el inicio de otra en su lugar。 Tan intrigante como escalofriante; es reflexionar sobre la condición humana con la más pura imaginación。Lo más relevante no es en sí la historia de la conquista， es redescubrir con ello lo terrible que puede esconderse en el alma humana。 Al principio estarás del lado de los humanos， horrorizado por lo que los marcianos hacen， tal cual xenofobia; pero con el paso de los relatos el miedo hacia los extraterrestres se transforma en compasión y finalmente en empatía， dejando un hueco en tu estómago al conocer su destino。Además， al ser publicado en los años 50， nos permite sentir las preocupaciones de la época: el miedo a las guerras， la ambición de poder， la supremacía imperialista blanca con su racismo presente… Y al mismo tiempo darte cuenta que todo sigue siendo tan actual， que la crítica hacia la crueldad de nuestra especie y nuestra manera de relacionarnos con lo extraño sigue siendo válida。Ideal para quien quiera acercarse a la ciencia ficción sin sentirse abrumado， para darse cuenta que en este tipo de historias lo importante no son las naves espaciales， los robots o los aliens， sino la forma en que nos permite reflexionar sobre la existencia humana， su sociedad y sus carencias。Mi relato favorito es "El marciano"; aún lo pienso y me sigue estremeciendo。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this book。 It’s the first book I’ve physically read this year （not audiobook） and you really can’t beat the feeling :’） I would’ve given it 5 stars， but I save the 5 stars for books that make me cry。 Anyway - Bradbury is one of my all time favorite authors。 I love his blend of religion， honest assessment of culture， and guesses for the sci fi future。 This book was a compilation of short stories that told the big picture。 It definitely struck me as one of his more depressing work I really enjoyed this book。 It’s the first book I’ve physically read this year （not audiobook） and you really can’t beat the feeling :’） I would’ve given it 5 stars， but I save the 5 stars for books that make me cry。 Anyway - Bradbury is one of my all time favorite authors。 I love his blend of religion， honest assessment of culture， and guesses for the sci fi future。 This book was a compilation of short stories that told the big picture。 It definitely struck me as one of his more depressing works， but it was a beautiful read at the same time。 He shows the wonderful quirks of people while also revealing the horrors。 Again， love him & would recommend！ 。。。more

Wow， Ray Bradbury really knows how to touch on humanness and genocide in one fell swoop。The artistic writing style leaves us spellbound deep in the red planet。 The fact that he is able to capture the desires of mankind and place them loosely on front of us makes you think about how we approach sciencey things and others who are unlike us。
